ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (July 29, 2010) – Southern California started off the day with a three-shot lead entering the final round of the Junior America’s Cup at Isleta Eagle Golf Club in Albuquerque, N.M with hopes of surviving the field and the heat.  The SoCal boys didn’t wilt in the heat of the summer sun either, instead running away with the 2010 team title by 13 shots at 21-under par.

On the individual side, Oregon’s Zach Foushee strung together rounds of 70, 68 and 66 to sneak in under the wire for the win.  Foushee’s three-day total of 204 was good enough for a one-stroke victory at nine-under par.

The 2011 Junior America’s Cup will be hosted in Mazatlan, Mexico.
