CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP - BRITISH COLUMBIA TAKES HOME TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL CROWNS

After falling behind San Diego at the conlusion of round two of the 2009 Junior Americas Cup, team British Columbia knew they needed to play well to take home the team championship. And play well they did! Led by Charlie Hughes' five-under par 65 and Sally Pini Medalist Justin Shins' two-under 68 British Columbia cruised to a tournament low round of five-under 205 to take home the team title.

San Diego finished the event in second place followed by tournament host Southern California. Yuki Kato of Las Vegas, NV was the individual runner-up followed by Jay Hwang of San Diego, CA.

The 2010 Junior Americas Cup will be held at Tanoan Country Club in Albequerque, NM, July 27-29.
